Base Too Near |

The Americans have decided to build a small base next to our own tunnel complex. Their base is now almost finished. So let’s finish it for them, comrades. Destroy everything?
This is the Indian Country map, with a few small changes. Your VC team spawns within the tunnel complex. You can’t get out because the US soldiers are camping the exits. Campers!
Try to climb any ladder exit; you will get shot by one of those US campers. Every time. Finally, I went to that room with a view and saw the guy. So I shot him. “Now I can get out,” I said to myself.
But not to be. Again I got shot. No luck throwing grenades and I could not see anyone to shoot. Where was he?
Finally, I had to give up. Decided on a Rambo exit from that big rock at the US base. Grenades helped. Got up on that big US rock, took a LOT of fire, and managed to get over to see the guy was who was camping my ladder exit.
And there he was! Lying down. Just waiting for me. Sitting there, aiming at my ladder exit the whole time. That’s not how you play the game, dude. Loser!
The only map changes are cosmetic and are in the US base. There is a big AA gun where the US flag used to be. Each high corner of the US base has a nice Big MachineGun that you can use. Especially nice to get to one and mow down the US soldiers who come after you. And they will come after you.
I’m just glad there were no US soldiers down in my tunnels. That would have been a pain, coming around a corner and getting killed by a US soldier. In MY tunnels. That would have been a really bad dream. I admit I got pretty shot up and may not remember things too well. I think that was a dream. Wasn't it?
